yeah, I think a good cleaning and some WD40 and steel wool will get this going good. The SA3 speed seem to work pretty well but I'll shoot some lube down the cable sleeve to keep it smooth. New brake shoes and maybe replace the cables and some new rubber and it should be back on the road.

Got a message from some friends today that said they were cleaning out their garage and had an old Schwinn they wanted to get rid of and would I want it. Who says no to free bikes? Nothing super special but it should clean up pretty good.

Here it is as currently being ridden. Need to reattach the rear reflector. Got some plans for an artillery shell headlight. This thing has patina for days.

In a pool full of amazing bikes, to me this was the coolest.

I think these were really built to be stretch cruisers. That frame just flows tight into that style.

Yeah, this thing is a tank. Almost rideable, didn't pick up a chain on the way home today. Torn down, cleaned, greased and sealed with Penetrol. Had a killer old seat i wanted to use but the top pan was too far gone. Anyone remember who was making the custom replacement leather covered pans?

Got the rear reflector housing off. Bike was originally black with white and red details.

I've seen some really cool bent wood fenders on here somewhere.
