    1966 Schwinn Stingray Deluxe

Pretty sure I couldn't afford it. My wife would not be happy & it's winter here now so I can't sleep out in the shed.

Removing original paint is kicking my butt

I use Scotch-Brite Roloc SE Surface Conditioning Disc TR, 2" Diameter, A Medium Grit with an air powered angle grinder. Works great with a little elbow grease! Usually takes me about 10 discs to strip a frame. I get mine at O'Reilly Auto Parts. You can find them cheaper in a larger...

    Let's see your Western Flyer's

50's 20" Western Flyer made in Germany: And another cool 20" WF. Not sure what year but guessing late 40's or early 50's? And this oddball jewel! 20" WF made in Belgium. This is exactly as I found it. I think all parts are original other than the bars & that awesome front wheel!:D...

    1966 Schwinn Stingray Deluxe

I got that same bike brand new for Christmas one year when I was a kid. Mine had the two speed kickback rear hub on it. Loved that thing! Wish I still had it. I put many, many miles on that baby!

I have a pic somewhere on this computer of one with go cart wheels & slammed to the ground that looks really cool. Just wouldn't work out here in the sticks though. I'll do some digging & if I find it I will post it.

    Strange but cool girls 20"

He was. They are hard as a rock & one of them is cracked. If they weren't they would already be his. They may be usable but not in super good shape. Would be ok for display though.
