It's been a while but here the update. I wanted to fit fat rims in the Felt,but also wanted to keep the Classic look. For this reason my choice had fallen on polished 26"x 64 mm Classic cycle rims. Because the availability of the Classic cycle rims was moved over a few times. I finally picked up...

I like the silver (raw aluminum) too. But i'm thinking of changing it into a bright yellow ^. And name it " Nasty Nine ". :wink:

To give the bike that bobber style. I have the frontlegs shortened 45 mm for maximum lowering. Here the legs are still raw,put them in to see how it looks and rides. Also grinded the v-brake mountings off. Now the forklegs and the handlebar do have a new powdercoat. That giant bell...

My Rockabilly Boogy with max lowered frontfork. Powdercoated the fork legs again, because bare metal doesn't work in The Netherlands. The fork is lowered 45 mm and the v-brake mounts are grinded of. The cutted fork leg. Swapped the brown saddle with the black one which was on the Ratty 8.

Some little changes to the Ratty 8. Swapped the black saddle with the dark brown saddle that was on the Rockablly Boogy The forklegs powdercoated. And the bike is on Brown Fat Franks now

As i bought me a Felt Classic Stretch viewtopic.php?f=6&t=615010 last July,and i wanted to do some changes to it, this one came first. So the Ratty 8 project was gone in the fridge for a while. :cry: :idea: To protect parts from getting lost,i've put the 8 together again. Now it's a raw 26"...

Note. Watch the modifications that he did to the fork. The dropouts are turned around,wich gives the fork more rake. And the cantilever mountings are removed. The frame is a handbuild, build from scratch also. :wink: Who wants to see more of this look here...

My Felt Classic, as it was when i just bought it. Changed the grips for old shimano 333 gripshift and placed a Brooks B67 saddle. Put leather grips on the 333 gripshift,and fitted brown Fat Frank tires. This is how the Classic is at this moment. Still to do, change the rims for polished 26"...
