I'm thinking to transform the S8 into a bike based on the HPP Superbird. The frame will get the orange / black color scheme with a silver line. The wheels i'm gonna take apart and strip the paint off the rims and spokes. After that i polish the rims to high gloss, and the spokes will be bare...

Yes i can really lay it down, as long as i don't pedal while doing that. Because the pedals touch the ground. If you mean, is it possible to go standing on the pedals to make more speed. Yes it is.

The comfort factor is not that bad. It's even better than i thougt it would be,a little bit racy.

80 mm rim with 8 spd. hub doesn't need a offset sprocket. Bytheway on a 8 spd. hub you can't fit a offset sprocket,because the clickbox is placed in de centre of the sprocket. :idea: My wheel is spoked a little offcentre to the left, i think about 3mm. And i have a 346 offset chainring...

It's not my bike. But this is what we call in dutch " een bierfiets " it means beerbike. Upto 12 peeps for pedaling and on the back place for a few more peeps. :D :lol: One for steering. :( And beer on tap. :wink:

Nice Basman. Love this color and the 346 tires a lot. :shock: I think a black handlebar schould look better. But a great bike to start with. :mrgreen: Btw i haven't had any problem with my kickstand. 8)

With the standard 346 seat moved a little forward, i could reach the pedals easaly. :mrgreen: The only thing I didn't like was how the 346 seat looks at the seat post. :cry: I have the brooks b33 mounted as low as possible to the seat post. That makes it possible to move the seat a little...
