So, made the screen lace front fender; will be blacked out. Getting off to slow start. Will be like the roller coaster building up speed.

Falstaff, Big Valley & Bonanza; great references in TV history. When I watched TV, everything was in black & white.

Decided to stick with brown & black hues to the rust. Victorian colors on carriages were probably more subdued.

Now a little blue.

Took another shot at integrating the color; getting closer. As usual practice & patience are key.

Okay, took some O D Green Satin water base exterior paint and brushed lightly with a sponge brush. Then sprayed with water bottle and used a hair dryer to dry quickly. First attempt to integrate some color in to the rust base coat. Going try black & blue when I get to the store later in the week.

Odd Job, that is big question. I will be experimenting with some alternatives. If I come up with an acceptable solution, will share. If You, TRM or other fellow RRB's come up with a method, please share.

TRM, I respect your opinion and totally agree. I was starting to grow tired of total rust; unless this bike had been submerged in Neptune's Tomb. Once I get all the bits built, will tackle adding some interest and highlight the details. Thank you for the much appreciated critique and honesty.

Reusing the sewing machine wheel guard as the mount for the rear tail light. The light is old trailer lens and a small funnel. Will relocate to the center hole and rust from funnel to the wheel guard.

Tank & Frame detail; all blingy copper will be aged.

Mirror made from candle votive & motorcycle part; wife donated the mirror insert from old compact.

Mud Flap & Strainer detail on rear fender. Will paint both aged black.
