Kota, prior to my back injury, I had to ditch the 3G Copper rims; wouldn't clear the front fender, too wide. So found two black 1.50 rims in my stash and will jazz them up with some off the shelf wheel disc. Pics will follow.
Hope to be returning to action later this week to finish the build by...
Added Copper Inserts to the "Tank". Hopefully, the front tire will arrive today.
Will post a pic of the final mock up once the front wheel is mounted. Thinking I am at the 65 - 70 percent mark of completion of the build.
The rule of thumb is 10 miles per ounce of fuel. I have never heard of anyone riding a motorized 2 cycle bicycle for more than 25 miles without a break. I think your capacity is more than adequate.
It is not that comfortable. However, it fits the flow of the build. I have a Brooks leather seat with copper rails; tried on the bike and did not work with the spirit of the build. Let's face it, a lot of the unconventional things we do in our builds are not always functional.
Curious about the amount fuel capacity? The rule of thumb is approximately 1 ounce of fuel equals 10 miles.
Time in the saddle on a 2 stroke is about 25 miles, before the comfort dissipates.
