Digging the color combo. Those spokes are insano cool.

In between cure times, fabbed up a pair of fork dodads to add some flair to the fork. Used two sets of drum lugs & valve springs and attached to the leg. Will add the second pair when ready to paint the fork.

Whew! Has taken two days to get this point on One Front wheel disc. Still need one more application of stain to match fenders. Since the disc are plastic, I have to go slow & easy with the torch. Thus, the increased cure time between torchings. Only three more to go after the final app on this one.

Luke, yes they are plastic. Found two more larger ones for the rear wheel.

Unearthed some old practice cymbals to be faux finished for front wheel disc covers.

Winning is a nice side effect to the build offs. The build & hi-jinks with fellow builders is where it's at. Fun & creating is the reward.

Fabbed up the fenders to test the paint for the fenders & frame. Torched & used light steel wool to take the gloss off the yellow paint. The result gave the paint a "bruised banana" look. I used the oops Gray paint as the undercoat and torched it. Then dappled the stain and lightly torched. The...

Retrieved this lemon yellow ladies Schwinn from curbside garbage pickup. The name for the build roughly translated is "Under going Revival". The only plan is to use left over parts and unconventional items in the build.

Yeah, thought it was a 1 hour difference between MT & CT; stupid mistake. I still wouldn't had made the deadline; needed that extra hour to complete the build. Still happy I could be in the BO 11. I can't wait to peruse all the completed builds and cast my votes. Amazing builds where made this...

T Minus 4.5 hours until closeout! Just finished the faux rust on the front wheel. Way too much to do. I will work until time is up. Kudos to all that made this a great BO; and high five to all who finished their masterpieces.
