    The Graverobber

It's rusty, crusty and has an amazing stance.

    Kustom Ladies Ride FINISHED!

I don't know how I missed this build. Very sweet ride. I love the frame. Everything flows so nicely.

    __-~^^~-__ BERKSHIRE __-~^^~-__

Beautiful. I love how you've updated it and kept it true to what it was/is. It wears its years well. It looks like it has been eased into the present rather than dragged kicking and screaming.

    OCC Stingray electric trike

Sweet trike. It has a kick-... attitude that neither e-bikes nor the OCC Stingrays ever come close to.

    The Low Tracker is Finished!

So many great details on this bike but my absolute favorite by far is the way you have curved back the seat tube to parallel the curve of the wheel. It seems to both stretch out the bike and make it seem tighter. So far I think it's my favorite frame mod even over some of the all out customs...

    Old Friend

Great bike. I hope something I build comes out looking that good.

    Columbia Springer Fork Hardware

The shoulder on the bolt is just a little taller than the swingarm is thick. That way the swingarm is free to move when the nut is tightened on the bolt. The bolt is securely fastened to the fork so it won't move. The lock washer is to make sure the nut stays tight. The picture below is a cross...

    Columbia Springer Fork Hardware

I just ordered these on Ebay from thenewgaragesalequeen2011. It's the pivot bolts, nuts, and rocker arms for the Columbia Springer fork all re-manufactured in stainless steel. It's perfect for my Goodyear Marathon project because I was missing some of these parts and even the parts I had were a...

Custom Diamondback "JOKER" ~~DONE, FINISHED, CONCLUDED!~~

It looks sweet. The raggedy masked edges work with the textured paint and make a nice contrast with the glass smooth powder coat.

    Gyes saddles, first impressions.

They definitely feel different and I think some of the proof might be in the longevity. I have a Brooks professional I bought in the 70's that's still in amazing shape. I frankly don't expect the same from my Gyes but I probably won't be riding it in 40 years either.

OK, I didn't realize that you don't automatically follow your own posts so I missed the last couple of comments. Dave420, if you're still following, I dropped thenewgaragesalequeen2011 a message on ebay, i'm waiting for a response. I had also spoken to elginbluebird on ebay who was selling what...

BOARDTRACKER BOMBER XIII * FINISHED *

From what I remember of the old Briggs and Strattons the the fins are also part of the governor. If you're of the "I don't need no stinking governor" school it's not an issue. Dave

BOARDTRACKER BOMBER XIII * FINISHED *

I'm a little late catching up on this but I have the same forks, also missing parts. The fork will work to a certain extent with regular bolts and lock nuts but the stepped bolts eliminate play while providing a secure pivot for the arm to swing on. If you're just using lock nuts you are going...

Mike Wolfe of American Pickers & FELT Bicycles create the "Red Wolfe" Bike

My mistake, I was under the impression that there was a significant premium for this "special edition" bike compared to a similar Felt bike. From what I can see, there's nothing but paint to set it apart from the other Felt bikes so I personally would not be willing to pay a premium price for it.

Just some ratty old Bug-Eyed Elgin ~ PIIIIC HEAVVVVVY

Sweet. Looks like it was well used and well loved. The pristine ones make me kinda sad, they belonged to some child that never got a chance to ride it.

Mike Wolfe of American Pickers & FELT Bicycles create the "Red Wolfe" Bike

That show is one of my guilty pleasures, but the bike does nothing for me. It's a $300 paint job. Now if they could make it look a little like an old Indian, that would be cool. Really fat fenders and a monarch style fork maybe....

    1948 Columbia Goodyear Marathon

The plan is to get it running with some mods where there are broken or missing parts. The Marathon was the entry level cruiser back in the day so there's not a lot of bang for the buck to restore it to showroom. I will be keeping paint original and holding on to all the original parts in case I...

    1948 Columbia Goodyear Marathon

My initial intentions were to get a bike built for the spring, but my basement is too crowded and my garage is too cold to get much done over the winter. Here is the starting point for this project: So far it's been torn down, cleaned up and given a coat or two of turtle wax that has given...

    32" Higgins

Try bolting an idler from the derailleur to the dropout somehow. It would clean up the look and give the dropout something to do.
