Thanks. I added the repop fenders and cleaned the chrome up and recently sold it. Great riding bikes, I miss this one!

Thought about getting a donor fender to continue it down to the front mount, but trying to match the patina would be almost impossible. So I stuck my battery tube behind the seat post tube so there wasn't such a void there.

My first attempt at a potato sack cover. Kinda neat burlap bag with some cool graphics.

Found this 66 Schwinn Racer at Habitat for Humanity store for $25. Lady said " it doesn't pedal." Got it home, adjusted the shift cable and shifts like new. Always a fan of the coppertone Schwinns.

Haha, sorry for the scare! Yep, Im a fan of boiled linseed oil too. I'll wipe some over these fenders as soon as some rust starts to show up on the bare metal areas. Cheers!

After seeing Ceebee's Colson with the awesome house paint patina, I was motivated to get after some fenders I had hanging on the wall. Sprayed some stripper on the hefty coat of house paint green. Started scrubbing with some sand paper, scotch brite pads, and finished with 0000 steel wool...

I like this bike. A lot.
