I got some welding done on the fork after work. It's about done, I have a little more work to do, and probably a light coat of putty....but I am fairly happy with the result.

I like your input Luke! I do think I will do a second leaf and bring it out of the mount about 3" and grind it to a point, that should help relieve the stress where the main leaf is notched and look pretty cool too. I just hate the idea of drilling 4 mounting holes in 2 leaf springs!!! I might...

I do think that the original SK truss rods look good, but......I actually think that a nice curved set would tie into the curves of the seat stays and round out the overall look nicely. Something like this. Don't get me wrong, I'm still madly in love with this build whatever you choose to do...

Yeah Luke, I will definately do the area between the trim to match the top! The test panel deal does require a lot of setup, I'm not sure if I will do it or just run with something I THINK will look good. I believe that black will make it darker than I want and silver will be to light / bright...
