Lacing isn’t the hard part. It’s tension and true that take the time. Here’s a video I found useful when I learned- and this is the spoke calculator I prefer- https://leonard.io/edd/ with this calculator, I’ve learned it’s best to round down about plus 1mm. (Example- if it says 259.8, 258...

Is it possible that the cog has play behind the snap ring? Or that the dust cover behind the cog has play? Also is the brake arm snugly secured between the cone and lock nut?

I don’t intend to.. but I’m gonna be unloading some bikes very shortly. Odds are high! Although I really dig the p2 forks, they seem more at home on a diamond frame to me. (Or if I had run flat bars and a long stem on it.) The aesthetic of this frame just needs bmx forks IMO. Was happy to find...

Pro bars would be sweet! What ya got in mind? The big honkin bars definitely have a a Kos/GT look going on. I do like the height of the super big honkin, just wish the bottom of the bar was wide like the big honkin. I really love the way this bike rides. So much in fact...... Finally...

Thanks! As far as paint, original always. The goal is to have a build that looks like it was built through the late 70s into the early 80s as used and was thrown in a shed and forgotten about. As it sits now I’ve been riding it around the warehouse and have been enjoying it just fine...

Gave this one an overhaul recently. ‘80 Schwinn frame with canti bosses and water bottle mount added back in the day. 6 speed. Put slicks on it for an quicker around towner.
