    Electra RS Klunker build

I like the look of the straight fork, using the same fork on my felt classic build.. Its a 28 inch right? Dig the forkstruts combo too.

It,s a 26 inch, i cut out the top of a rotten cruiser seat, and traced it on the seatpan. Then i cut out the seatpan with a stanly knife and used doublesided tape and bolts to put it together..

    Felt Classic, The Black Sheep

Bought a felt classic for 30E yesterday: Starting the breakdown, stem comes loose normally for a change.. Time for a break. Now for the exciting part, will the stuck seatpost removal tool i thought up yesterday function? At first the stem started rotating, so i tightened it stronger and to...

    The Schwinn Dixie Dreamcycle

Why can,t we just all use the decimal system like normal people  (just kidding). Compare the one you want to use with the one you can,t get in. Usually the size is engraved on the seatpost somewhere under the ¨minimal insert¨ line. The ones i shared are just a download from the net...

    The Schwinn Dixie Dreamcycle

If all else fails you could use a smaller size seatpost with an adapter.

    The Schwinn Dixie Dreamcycle

Plenty of grease is always advisable when putting in a seatpost, i,ve had the same problem several times. sometimes it helps to ¨wriggle¨ (wiggle?) the seatpost in, pushing it back and forth, side to side, carefully a bit while pushing it in. Often it is only the top which is too tight. Be...

How to make and use Vinegar Custard for rust removal

There is no need for tools that damage the remaining chrome, all i needed to remove the custard is a hard household brush like this: And a scrubbing sponge like this to apply the linseed oil: Use the scrubbing side only for non-smooth surfaces, to get the oil in the pores, use the soft side...

How to make and use Vinegar Custard for rust removal

In this recipe i will use white vinegar, plain white flour, rusty objects and linseedoil: Make a mix of flour and vinegar and stir well to avoid lumps: Boil the vinegar, when it comes to a boil turn down the heat and add the vinegar starch mixture. Keep stirring until it thickens to a real...
