How do you clean aluminum rims?

Living in an appartement, sanding in the living or bedroom is not a good idea. I do cleaning and sanding sitting under the shower, all dirt and dust flushes away and does not effect your lungs. You can have a footbath meanwhile, and you and your stuff will both come out clean!

Went to the oldest hardwarestore in town, this is their shop window: My bike in front of the building: Upholstered the saddle: This is the 1 to 1 1/8 inch ahead conversion: Over the compression ring goes the dustcover, a 1 to 1 1/8 seatpost converter and over that the spacers and headset...

Bummer, threw this type of bar away a few weeks ago with a worn-out french frame.:( Will have a look at my handlebar collection for something similar.

    Rusty Red Transporter

The azor frames are quite decent as opposed to the popal or bsp crap you can literally find on the streets here.. Curious what this will become, if you need any parts send me a message, i might have them lying around.

    Pope Roger bike build

Looks great and like the color, it is ¨distinquished¨ rather then overt fitting a dutch bike😉

Cleaned the wheels, lubricated and tuned all axles with lots of grease. Sanded down the tankplate and put it on for mock-up. It,s a rider!! Due to experience, i am always skeptical of my own ideas when starting a build, but it performed the way it looks. Love it. Been jumping of the pavement...

Got a new seatpost and spindle-bolts at the local bmx store and some other bike building essentials: Got the three-piece crank on!: Detail: Pretty rad, if i may say so..

Victory! This pesky hexnut was trying to sabotage my plans of using the three-piece crank from the bmx, so i tried drilling the cap off trough the hole but it took ages. Then cut a slot through the hexnut which did not help, so i cut half of it from the side and then it started to loosen up as...

Thanx Bart, love your bikes. Maybe we should have a Dutch Rat Rod Ride sometime, i am not sure how many dutch builders are on the forum, but there seems to be least four of us. If i need any parts i,ll let you know but my attic was so filled i donated most of it to a charity bike project. Took...

It is a similar three-piece as the one below, so it will fit my BB. There is no real need in getting the right arm of, since it will not come out from the left. So i will drill through the hex-hoie to remove the cap, see if i can get the left arm loose and then try to remove the remaining bolt...

I found a company who sells ¨branded¨ products for promotional purpose per unit, from skateboards to bicycles. They sell the same cruiser.. Found a more high-end fork in the attic, it is threadless, trying an ahead conversion: Bought an uncooperative BMX for the three piece crank but the...
