I was lucky to have all the parts at my disposal, so it almost felt as if this bike created itself with me being just the mediator.. But it was much easier to build than one of those i supose: Just the thought of having to build one of these makes me waking up scraming in the middle of the night!

Put a chain on, routed the shiftercable and got a bell on the bars. I wanted this bike to be as minimalistic as a ¨fixie¨ so there is nothing more i need to ad, and i am calling this done now that i have the shifter adjusted properly.

Those bars were just an idea i was toying with, they are cruiser bars with those mtb bar extension thingies, but i decided to use standard apes. Then i found this adjustable stem i had forgotten about, and put on a Sturmey gripshifter and a pare of grips that seem to have come with the shifter...

Found a fitting aluminium seatpost and put a vintage Lepper seat on. Not bad for a pile of parts found on the streets (except pedals and frame).

Plain linseed oil works great on everything, it brings out the shine in old paint and adds a nice gloss (and protection from further rusting) to rust. Also wood!
