    Scrapyard Mule

I dig the alien design of this bike, how would it ride with the fork turned ¨upside down¨?

Fixedy a photoshop bicycle design comic..

I was thinking how fix a stretched frame from a diamond frame and decided to try it out in Gimp, a Linux image program. I know that 26 balloon tires have about the same diameter as a 28 inch wheel, so i matched the wheelsize with a stretched cruiser and made three cuts: one in the toptube...

Sidetrack Space: Build Off Highlights and Chat.

Compliments for all creators. I love the inventiveness, the difference in style, vision, and design and the love for bicycles of everybody on this forum. To bikaholics bicycles are objects of admiration, potential and desire and a means of self-expression. Spread bikaholicism! Make bikes, not war!

    BO15 Beiwagenmaschine Type II (finished)

    Raleigh Carlton Sirocco Nexus3

Well, i did this before with a vintage suntour downtube shifter and a nexus3, so i thought it would work with any type of shifter. The position is really simple: down is 1 up is 3 and somewhere in the middle is 2. I put the shifter down, then tension the shiftercable while attaching it to the...

    The Urban Insult Bicycle

Thanx alot for the comments, will to add a ridevideo soon, it rides lovely and i hope to organize a dragrace for stretched cruisers sometime. It woul be really cool to outfit a stretched frame with a flywheel, for a a screeching start.

    Raleigh Carlton Sirocco Nexus3

This frame was built in 1980 in the Raleigh Carlton factory in Worksop England, the same year our dutch hero Joop Zoetemelk won the Tour de France with a similar frame and crankset, and a year before Carlton, one of the oldest bicycle factories from 1898 finally closed it doors after a Raleigh...

    BO15 The Urban Insult Bicycle

I was lucky to have all the parts at my disposal, so it almost felt as if this bike created itself with me being just the mediator.. But it was much easier to build than one of those i supose: Just the thought of having to build one of these makes me waking up scraming in the middle of the night!

    The Urban Insult Bicycle

Hereby i proudly present the Urban Insult Bicycle: It aims to be a hybrid ¨fixie style¨ stretched cruiser build for functionality, lightweight, comfort and speed while retaining a sort of futuristic style. and it came out really comfortable , fast, relatively light and in my humble opinion...

    BO15 The Urban Insult Bicycle

Put a chain on, routed the shiftercable and got a bell on the bars. I wanted this bike to be as minimalistic as a ¨fixie¨ so there is nothing more i need to ad, and i am calling this done now that i have the shifter adjusted properly.

    BO15 The Urban Insult Bicycle

Those bars were just an idea i was toying with, they are cruiser bars with those mtb bar extension thingies, but i decided to use standard apes. Then i found this adjustable stem i had forgotten about, and put on a Sturmey gripshifter and a pare of grips that seem to have come with the shifter...

    BO15 The Urban Insult Bicycle

Found a fitting aluminium seatpost and put a vintage Lepper seat on. Not bad for a pile of parts found on the streets (except pedals and frame).

    BO15 The Urban Insult Bicycle

Thanks for the support people. Did a front balcony paintjob because i do not want to poison the herbs on my back balcony. As long as the wind goes out of my house it was doable. Also cleansed the crank and Bottom Bracket. Got some tires on.. And could not resist doing a mock-up, i used an...

    My great-grandfathers motorized bicycle!

Well, i live in Amsterdam and it probably is as illegal over here even if my grandparents had taken it with them to the Netherlands. But it turns out there are lots of those bikes still alive and rumbling well preserved in Indonesia. So my Great grandfathers bike may still be riding around...

    As a coating i meant..

    Rusting Bare Metal

Plain linseed oil works great on everything, it brings out the shine in old paint and adds a nice gloss (and protection from further rusting) to rust. Also wood!
