Recently bought me a pair of these: Does anybody know if it is possible to convert the axle to coaster brake?

According to http://www.rijwiel.net/artloc2n.htm between 50 and 70 years old, as shown by the lugs used. 05 = 1940s or 50s

Not sure if this counts as a ratrod: 3 speed sturmey archer 26X1.3/8 aluminium wheelset, stripped and painted the frame primer grey then clearcoated. Lepper seat.

Looks great, the brooks would look good in combination with the laid-back seatpost. If you can get the chainguard positioned right it will be even better.

No i did not mean a 50cc driving-license, but the yellow license-plate... What would you have to do to get one? If you see an officer, just turn of the engine and pedal :wink:

Thnx for the comments guys, her is a before pic in mockup stage: As you can see its basicly an old diamond frame with a chopped rearfork and a suspension fork. A lot of classic bikes have a bolted on "rearfork" which is easy to chop. No welding required. Personally, i love the sakae nos pedals...

Bought this bike 2nd hand for 120E, peeled off the decals (argh), Added a carrier and a headlight, a new lepper seat and steco seatpost, new pedals, apehangers and headstem. Tuned and lubed all the axels.

I have my skateboardgraphics printed at the printshop for a few euros. You could cover the print with a second layer of translucent foil for protection. Have to make me some decals sometime.
