Re: Bar Fly The fork has a pretty cool patina on it, so I am going to clean them a little, then spray them with some semi-gloss clear, followed by a matte clear. With a little clear, they come out a touch darker, and the matte finish helps minimize the shine. Really happy with how these...

Re: Bar Fly Spent a little time on Bar Fly today. This is a black rim. It will not do... So I busted out some sand paper, a little self etching primer, and I made it red. A little sanding and another coat and this run should be good to go. Got something in the mail today... Pics...

Re: Bar Fly I managed to find a couple hours to pull some parts together and dry fit some parts. I pulled this off the shelf - it will go perfectly with this build. An original Schwinn locking fork that will work with this frame if I ever to a proper restoration. I got it from AS Boltnut on...

Thanks for the complements. I'm pretty happy with how this is turning out. I was planning on selling it when I'm done, but it may be a keeper. I got the chain guard painted up, and installed some decals that I got from bicyclebones on ebay. Quick shipping on those - I got them in two days...
