Oh yes, I've been lurking in your build thread. Now that you have the steer tube switched back to stock, you shouldnt need that fender bracket anymore. Personally I like it the way you had it set up first and the way mine is set up here.

Not really a siren or a horn, it actually makes a pretty horrible sound. Perfect for driving out the demons.

Tempting indeed. I might have to do something as the fender currently leans pretty hard to one side. The thought of just whacking that fender brace does make me a little nervous. No matter what I do, at least I know I will have someone watching over me.

This little bike is not your average convertible. The welds and chrome are far superior to any Headstrom bike ever made. I believe the serial number shows it is a 1980 and it is sporting very early stamped Sun Metal Prod. rims. Someone putt a sticker on the headtube but it is a Huffy...

Blackwalls are on and the wheels are as honest as they need to be. I need to sort through some boxes to find pedals and a chain in order to take it for a spin but at least is a roller now and I can see how it sits. Far from done though. After all the Devil is in the details...

That bike was built not long after Shelby and CWC were bought out by AMF. It has a leftover Shelby chain ring and that tank Should fit some model Shelbys as well. The fenders will most likely be leftover CWC's. Most of these end up in pieces.

Did it sell right away? Depending on where its advertised if it is still for sale, it is overpriced.

A club pin for the RUNNER UP! Hard to place a value on a 1 inch pin from our local bicycle club, but I think a second place finish gets you one.
