Really like how these fenders are turning out!
Still need to mount it (and get going on the other one...)
Dual purpose: style points and fire protection fot the tires...:)
Thanks guys!
Was starting to think i was boring y'all ;)
Not exactly a typical build...alot of moving parts and at the end of the day, not really a "bike" thats going to log alot of miles.
The wrought iron details are there to stay i think...im trying to tie this bike in with my other grill bike...
Playing around with some different ideas for the seat. I have this metal seat I made onto an old b72 frame... it might get kind of hot behind the seat, metal is the way to go I'm thinking.
Really one of my favorite in progress builds around!
Do you still have the pics in your computer or somewhere?
Even a quick montage of your best build pics collected in a new post would be better than nothing...
:)
Also, unbolted the back end to swap a sprocket and add a couple more pillow blocks.
Did a beafier job welding the sprocket to the hub.
Hope to find out soon how it rides
Tires.
Got these smaller moped tires and stretched them on.
Kind of perfect...although i do have the meatier tires as well, if I want to change the look later.
Well, as part of the bolt together halves project, I finally got my seat post done the way I'd intended.
It's extended long, but how the seat attaches and which seat Etc are TBD...so here it is for now.
Tires should arrive today!
Another fantastic TRM machine on the way :)
Are you really moving it to the motorized section, or will it continue right here?
Just want to know where to go to keep up...;)
Yes indeed :)
Weld on sprocket against the flange...it'll be awhile before I can test ride it. The rear axle is getting another pair of pillow blocks mid span.
Right now there is a lot of flex in the axle, it would probably run pretty awfully...
Got some parts finally, now I can try and get this beast powered up!
Sprocket was a wee bit too small to fit on the hub but close enough that 10 minutes with the file got her on.
Chain just barely clears the flange, but does and now it's time to test the fit...
