Had to change the tail light...

Thanks guys! It's funny to be toiling away over here while the build off is going on...but I don't think I'll be able to give my BO bike the attention it deserves until this one is done. :)

So here's a bit of the mechanical set up on the grill. Two spits turn, driven either by the sprocket on the wheel or by a motor. Obviously it's mostly run by the motor, unless we're in a parade or somewhere where riding around and roasting a pig makes sense... ;)

Just working on some if the mechanical stuff... Moving the motor back. Making cutting boards, etc. Did ride it around the block yesterday though, pretty darn nice for a super heavy rider :) Oh yeah, got the tire brake working... needs a bit of tweaking. This is a flat land only bike!!

Waldo Jeffers...love the Alias! Huge fan of the Elfman but I hadn't gone through the whole build thread until now (recommended reading for those who've not...) Fully expect this build to hit the sratosphere! Now it's time to get busy... The battle for second place is on ;)

TCool!! Is that 2 speed modified? I've got an old red band and a trike build getting started, I'd love to see a close up of how that mod was done!

Oh yeah...has anyone ever seen a military green 26" cruiser tire? Found these great 20" khaki black walls....would love one in the back to match.

Re-do on the rack braces...had to happen :) There are some extra points for bolting in the accessories needed to run a food bike...cold storage, napkins, condiments...etc. Still way too much to do on this. Kind of getting antsy to start my BO12 build, but it'll be better to get this one done...

Kind of funny braces. I think I'll bend some more flat bar when I get some longer lengths. I'll be making storage baskets our boxes or something that will cover them, but I still want it to look sharp if the saddle bags ever come off. Definitely needs curved braces!

Feeling the love! I totally Jones to hook up a propane thrower on a bike! This bike may be it.... I saw a pretty basic map gas and small pressure tank set up once that I liked.. would really like one to be trigger controlled from the handle bars ! :)

Basic shape. Braces next but I seem to be almost out of flat bar...

It's a fun shape to bend! Compound curves... We'll see if I can make the mirror image...;)

Hoping to get the rack built today. Cold bent this 3/4"X1/8" flat to a nice shape.. just need to make a match and I'll be in biz.

Seats back on, and so is the tin. Need to design the rear rack/ storage paniers... almost started in on that stuff withoutputting back the sheet metal..big oops avoided. It's great using this sheet metal again, I put it all on to a DX for last year's BO. Sold the DX and now everything's back on...
