To do this bike justice, I had to disassemble the wheels for a proper cleaning. Using Oxalic Acid on the rims and the rust just dissolves right off :happy:

Getting some cleaning done....lots of polishing compond and super fine steel wool is taking many years of garage grime off the finish. I am just going to clean and wax this one....and am loving the color. Chain guard before after Horn inside tank is in almost perfect shape with no rust

Just tried to take front spring out of the seat but I can not catch any threads on the top bolt after it passes through the frame....too short...and I can not see how it could be replaced with the longer bolt from the bottom.....any suggestions?????
