I’ve got a pair of these waiting to squeeze into place.

    RRBBO13 Project All In

I may chop off the chain guard tabs...but use the bridge to mount a new fender. The tires are going to be so fat, normal fenders won’t work.

I gotta hand it to the Asian welders, their beads aren’t too bad. So you know, this frame weighs in at 5lbs, stripped.

    RRBBO13 Project All In

Ok This frame is a Schwinn Tornado that was stripped for parts by my friend that owns Stonehall Bicycle, Monroe. It needs a fork and seat post that is not from your average cruiser. Jeff is a tech wizard with all the tools, so I recruited him to help me bore out the head tube to fit adapters...

RRB BO 13 Discussion Thread....feeling lucky?

Actually putting one together this year. The competition is usually pretty stiff and I don’t have much time, but I have a whole lot of parts that are just sitting around. I have an aluminum cruiser frame hanging in the basement that I want to ride.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BUILD OFF #9 RULES EXPERIMENT?

I'm open to a rule of you MUST start with a factory frame. Just no scratch-built frames (sub category). Must use existing bottom bracket, steering tube, seat stay. Every other mod is fair game.

Mike Wolfe of American Pickers & FELT Bicycles create the "Red Wolfe" Bike

I should rephrase, did they build it over seas to hit that price? If made in the USA, that's in the ball park for a modern, sturdy bike. That being said, I would buy 7, 50 yr. old Chicago rustbuckets instead. :D

Mike Wolfe of American Pickers & FELT Bicycles create the "Red Wolfe" Bike

The people that complain about the $ have been shopping at walmart too much... but they should have put a springer or some other fork on it and not copied the phantom paint scheme.

Anybody ever see these before? I want!!

Really cool bike! I like the retro style with ultra-modern tech. I want that belt-drive hub for a build, but I'm sure its cost alone could get me about 10 other bikes.

50th Birthday make-over for this bike!

Sweet Typhoon! I've got one, myself. I love to see a complete ground-up-rework  . Looks like you're headed in the right direction. Can't wait to see more pics.
