Decided not to paint, made new with leather. Still some stiching to do but it 'll be Ok.

I found this perfect colour which is a primer rattle can and want to use it as the colour of the finished bike. If I spray over it with lacquer, will it be stong enough as a top coat?

Saddle is on the way too. I used an old beat up saddle and desided to give it new skin instead of painting the old. I had an old leather jacket jaying around and I cut a piece of it. Still some stiching to do before ready but it'll be done soon.

I've never had a repair stand but just found an old mike stand and a pair of locking pliers laying around in my Shop and now I do.

Naaaahh. In fact, that green is not a bad idea, just need to find the right shade.

Yeah and in this case soaking the leather in water will make it easier to handle.

Pretty soon it´s timeto make a decision about the color. Any succestions?

Well, I decided not to paint but make a new skin on it. I have an old leather coat that can serve as a doner. I may use parts of to make a saddle bag also.

Just asked our local blaster yesterday and he said 20€ for a sripped frame.

I started this Last summer but did not finish it, so I though is about time to do so. Just finished scraping the frame from old paint residues and now it is ready for finishing the welds.

Sanding will be back up plan if nothing else (better way) appears.

I have few parts that don´t fit to the design because of the chrome, so it needs to go. Painting over is NOT an alternative. So, which way to go?

Done it? Any success? How did you do it and what did you use to do it?

Painted the sign today. Roina is finnish and means Junk as I'am a bit of a junk artist...

They are Schwalbe tires, so I think they should be decent enough...
