Just got my hand on this English bike.
Don´t know yet what to do with it, need to find out more about it´s age and other specs before starting on it.
If you can tell me anything about it, please do so. All info is appreciated.
o is
For me rat comes from making your stuff from what you have, not what you can buy.
Anyway, this problem is no longer. I make my own from the scrap I have.
Idea. Another vote for bikes that did not get finished for the competition? Let´s say, a month from now?? Only for the bikes that did not get finished in time, no new builds. Just to see what were missed and give a credit for those who could not finish in time.
I was very picky this time, only 3 votes. There was more bikes that deserves votes but I decided on two counts. First, would I ride it like it was mine and second, do I think it´s truly a rat bike on this category. None the less, great competition as always.
Ok. Just bought these (moped) parts today. They are parts from 3 different makes but they will look good put together.
It´s gonna be a bike (or something).
I need to get new tyres and I´m looking at Schwalbe´s, Fat Frank, Big Ben or Big Apple.
There is not much spare room on the frame so I´d like to know how wide ithey really are.
Also, are they any good?
I´m not sure if I´m qualified to this build off ´cause I´ve posted some pics of the idea before the contest began.
I did not do anything to it (still haven´t) except some mocking up like these pics here.
If I have the permission to join the race I´ll try to finish this on time.
The name comes...
I´m looking for a leaf spring to use on my project s front end.
Any idea where to find something that´s not too stiff.
Width shoud be somewhere between 1"-1½".
Hi guys.
Here´s my latest project that I started today.
There´s still many things that may differ but you get the idea.
The frame itself is a rack for milking machine tubes.
My latest project is finally rideable but still not finished.
Many minor and some major things are still undone but I´m confident it´ll be ok in a while.
Still on the fence about a few things but I´ll figure them out.
I want to paint some parts that now are chromed.
What´s the easiest way to get it off?
Or is there some good stuff to prime the surface before painting without removing chrome?
