To me the key is putting something on that looks like it may have come on the bike. If I put something on my fender, I will grind it to the radius of the fender. Not too goofy looking. Size is important too. There are several size car parts that I think would work. Just smaller ones in my mind...

I had 2.125 on mine and they hit the fenders Hard... Enough so that it could not even be pushed without damage. Maybe that's how they came up with the Klunker, Having no fenders.

Sounds like a good build, Do everything YOUR way... You have to ride it, You have to look at it and you have to live with it if you blow your budget. Sounds like you are happy with how it is working out.:)

Looks great, But I am talking over twenty five bikes. Not just a couple. I am not sure how the hoist would work in my situation.
