    Question about middleweights bikes

If it were me in your shoes. I would try one. I know that may be difficult , But that way you will know for sure. Its funny, I bought a bike from a guy. He said. The tires rub a little. It was a Stelber middleweight and he had put 2.125 tires on both wheels. Man............. It would not even...

    Hood/fender Ornament Fitting

To me the key is putting something on that looks like it may have come on the bike. If I put something on my fender, I will grind it to the radius of the fender. Not too goofy looking. Size is important too. There are several size car parts that I think would work. Just smaller ones in my mind...

How do you store your bike collection?

Great Pictures of your garage CeeBee, For some reason I am a little worried about hooking on the front wheel. A little worried it may tweek the front wheel. I am thinking of hanging a hook on a chain 26 inches from wall and 14 inches from ceiling and hooking it on the fork right under the neck...

Widest tire that fits in a Schwinn American frame

I had 2.125 on mine and they hit the fenders Hard... Enough so that it could not even be pushed without damage. Maybe that's how they came up with the Klunker, Having no fenders.

    villageidiot's build thread "the jerk"

Sounds like a good build, Do everything YOUR way... You have to ride it, You have to look at it and you have to live with it if you blow your budget. Sounds like you are happy with how it is working out.:)

    Mountain Bike Frames???

Is that JB weld or bondo covering the welds? It is very interesting. I saw one where a person took the rear bike and split the head tube in half and welded it on the front bike right under the front bike seat. Only installed and welded one bar between the two cranks. Front gears did not change...

    Frame Builders Advice!

Adding a bar here or there would not be a major problem for me. But I have never cut a frame in half and put it back together aligned properly. Lets say I take two frames and make one long one out of the two. Does anyone have a simple alignment process to get the two wheels in the same track and...

How do you store your bike collection?

Looks great. The picture on the site shows it along side the wall. Do you have a picture of this with tires on the wall? Is there a place where they sell these here in the USA? Looks like a great invention.

Looks great, But I am talking over twenty five bikes. Not just a couple. I am not sure how the hoist would work in my situation.
