Got the bike home to get a better look at it. Obviously I didn't ride it home lol Curious thing on the tube by the headtube. Some nice details on it

    BO15 Nouveau Style (previously Shop-rod)

After my fortunate success with last years Class 2 "The Streamliner" build, some of you may be surprised to see me entering a Class 1 build. The truth is that I just can't commit to the time it takes to do a full build. I started my business last year and it has gone really well so far. But I'm...

    Summer Build Off?

Summer build off? I wasn't going to,..... But........ I have had an idea..... And I have just sold the Streamliner, so I have room, and budget...... Do I have the time? Maybe I could do a quick turn around group 1 bike, I mean, that shouldn't escalate into a full custom build should...

    Summer build off prize

Ha ha thanks, It is plaque-ish....... ish When the Mrs got home last night she noticed it straight away.... "whats that at the end of the garden????" Busted already! I thought it would go unnoticed a least a few days! Lol

    Summer build off prize

Last summer my Streamliner bicycle won the group 2 build off. I was really stoked by the response it got. It's my understanding that the winner builds the prize for the following year. I've put some thought to this. I love making stuff, especially if it's a bit weird! However the chances are...

The Streamliner - thanks for the votes

I had a great time making this, now I'm going to stop traffic by using it before winter sets in! Oh and just to clarify two things, the bike can be pedalled and that's NOT my house in the video!

    Post Your Final Thoughts

My daughters bike is 24", but I'm sure I can find something suitable. I already have a seed of an idea.... I can already hear the conversations I'll have about it "why have you done that? It makes no sense whatsoever!" "that's why I've done it...."

    Post Your Final Thoughts

Thank you. I have modified the frame by adding various brackets, so I went for class 2. However next year........... ...... Let's just say the rat rod custom has influenced me! My Mrs keeps asking me to take my young daughters old bike down to the charity shop. For some reason I just can't...

    Post Your Final Thoughts

I checked first that my idea for a Streamliner would be welcome. I'm very aware it's not "rat" which is why I asked first. If it puts your mind at rest, I didn't get time to paint the frame so it is a little "ratty" under the skin :) As for a a riding video using the pedals, I can do this...

    The Streamliner

I found the original sketch I'd did right at the beginning. It's not too far off....

    The Streamliner

We were having a go at high speed runs to see what the motor could do. The motor can be used independently to the pedals, off road only of course! We took it in turns to ride round the car show. I don't think either of us used the pedals at all! Lol

    The Streamliner

Yes it can be pedalled. It is a standard bicycle under the panels.

Ah, that's a shame. As people have said, please keep us up to date with the build. I was very much looking forward to seeing this finished

    The Streamliner

Thanks, and yeah, there has been more than a few hours put into it!

I really can't wait to see this put together! I don't mind admitting that, at this stage, I have no idea how the items in those photos will become a bicycle!
