    Roadmaster

Good Grief Tyler! You are just now getting a CWC? You nailed it right on the head - a CWC is maybe the most solid ride you will ever have unlike some manufacturers bikes that ride like tin cans (who I won't mention). That is also my favorite top bars configuration. A straight bar frame is a...

1947 CWC Cleveland Welding Frame in time for RRBBO 11

Hi! I have a good solid '47 Cleveland Welding Frame looking for a Buildoff to win. He came to me dressed as a Schwinn - Springer, Head Badge, Chain Guard (note tabs), Seat Post (in upside down), Rear Carrier and Wheelset. I'll throw in the Schwinn same painted Chain Guard for nuttin if it sells...

    1945 CWC Roadmaster

Glad to see I sold this to the right guy - you're doing a lot better with it than I would have. The stripes came out really great and the rear blackout hub is kick butt. I didn't realize when you recovered the saddle that it was going to match so well in color with the bike - looks great. All...

Two Road Masters and a Speed-o

Excellent Deal. Both the Roadmasters have my favorite frame style with the top tubes. I can't tell whether the girl's bike has rusty chrome or painted fenders but I'm sure the painted parts will come out nice. Have Fun with those.

Found it but didn't buy it...

So, the suspense is killing me - did anyone buy the bike?

Dyno - glide deluxe with moto glide forks?

I recently picked up a Micargi Stretch Puma real cheap brand new on Craigs List. Now that I have compared it to an original Dyno Roadster I can see what I have been hearing all along - the Dyno is a much superior bicycle. It has quality components and the frame is built extremely well. I suggest...

    pair of roadmasters

I'd guess 1940 - 1943. That is definitely a prewar CWC Shockmaster Springer. A closer estimate would be 1941. I have a 1940 H Series, a 1941 J Series and a 1941 A series. Your K Series would probably fall in between the J and the A made in 1941. The boys bike was probably near top of the line -...

Time flys 10 years for the OCC chopper bike

Actually, there is a renewed interest in the Schwinn OCC Choppers. Jim Wilson over at pedalchopper.com has been working on aftermarket parts to motorize the OCCs. He is producing motor mounts that fit the oval shaped bottom tube on both the OCC Choppers and the Spoilers. Also on hand now are his...

    1950 Hawthorne Tanker

Considering all the parts there look original with matching paint AND it has a tank I'd say you did just fine on that Cleveland Welding Classic!

    New Girl

Very cool that it's been with the same owner since 1945. Cooler still - how did you get your pics to post backwards? Have Fun!

1930s Western Flyer Who made this ??

I thought it looked like a CWC - I was looking at the wrong serial number pic which really messed me up. OOPS! But the good news is that is a fantastic find - front & rear lights, saddle, tank, chain guard, rear carrier - drop stand is one of the easier parts to locate. The reflector on the rack...

1930s Western Flyer Who made this ??

I have or have had 22 Cleveland Welding bikes and every one of them had a serial number consisting of one letter and five numbers so when I saw the six numbers on this I just assumed it was a Snyder.

    Pro bike repair stand

Park for me - I love being able to spin it around 360 degrees as I work on different parts of the bike.

New Walmart Fat Tire Bike coming in a couple weeks

I bought a Green one about three weeks ago and all colors were still available at that time. I'm not a big derailler fan so I'm thinking of having my rear wheel relaced with the Fat Sturmey Archer 3 Speed.

    cwc, rc, and odyssey!

Well Happy Birthday and Congratulations on receipt of your first Cleveland Welding Frame! I can tell you your frame dates between 1945 & 1947. It is definitely Post War with the Down Tube entering the Bottom Bracket from a Horizontal Angle and the Seat Post Binder is smooth - the Annulated...

For local pick up only ?

I live in Indiana and the beaches are non-existent so to find a Dyno Stretch Roadster or Moto-Glide local was near impossible. But I not only found the bikes in California and Seattle respectively but I got on my knees and begged for a fellow RRB member to help me out with the shipping. Both...
