    Opinions?

No problemo amigo. Truthfully if I was you I'd save your money up and get that columbia tanksalot has for sale. I can only speak from a west coast perspective where everything is marked up 100% more then Kats on your side of the country pay but I think that's a good buy with plenty of options to...

    Opinions?

My advice to you fz and please don't take offense is just be an individual and get what you want. I'm sure you didn't need help deciding on what clothes to put on today. At the end of the day a bike is a bike who cares about resell value if you plan on keeping it for yourself.

Help mounting front wheel on prewar fork

Thanks man. I used a Dremel and cut it out and then took a metal file and filed the edges smooth. Looks factory I measured the other side of the fork and cut it to match.

Help mounting front wheel on prewar fork

What's my best bet should I mount the open side first and then try to pull the fork out far enough to place through the closed off end or vice versa I've litterally never been this frustrated before lol I'm cussing in languages I don't even know

Help mounting front wheel on prewar fork

I've never dealt with a fork like this before. One side is a normal opening to slide the axel into but the other side is completely closed off with a hole. I got one side into the closed area but now can't bend the fork out far enough to slide in the other axel.

Help mounting front wheel on prewar fork

i have a 34 rollfast I just gave a makeover too and I'm struggling trying to get the front wheel on. The fork is the kind where one end is open like a normal fork to insert the axel but the other side is closed off with only a hole for the axel to slide through. I've thrown every wrench I got...

    B.F. Goodrich (PIC ADDED)

I'm from the west coast where these kinda bikes aren't readily available like on the east coast and Midwest so speaking from my area I'd say $100 was ok. If you were to part it out the fork truss rods and chainguard alone would make your investment back. Or buy it ride it have fun with it and...

Where do I find a Tank for my Bike?

I've been collecting bikes for years and everyone else on here will agree with me. The bike is the cheap part the accessories are the wallet breakers. That tank will fit and you can always give it a "rust"oration or if you're repainting the entire bike you can paint to match. You can always play...

Where do I find a Tank for my Bike?

Yes sir. There's also a black one down the page. I got a buddy that has a 54 roadmaster and he bought one of these and fit just fine. I dunno if that's exactly what you're looking for but was just trying to help

Where do I find a Tank for my Bike?

I just looked on ebay and there's a few with a straight bottom for the price I quoted. Just type in roadmaster bicycle tank and it will pull em up for ya.

    rust rat hiawatha

Thanks man I appreciate that. simple with a lil attitude was how I wanted this one to turn out. This is the only cantilever frame I own. All I want to do is make some torpedo style lights to run on the rear end next to the wheel and I made a light for the front outa an old pomade can from the 50s.

I consider it a good day

That's rad man. I raise 2 daughters 100% by myself and I taught them both to ride in less then a week. I would make them zig zag on their bikes while I would talk to them so they wouldn't pay attention to the fear factor. Fast forward to 4 years later and we go on 5 mile rides together now. Got...

    1946 challenger

Thanks man I appreciate that. I'm a purist most my bikes are original paint ones but I've been slowly branching off. My next project is a 1934 rollfast im calling dillenger (year dillenger was public enemy #1) im gonna give it a slick black and white paint job and try to incorporate a tommy gun...

    1946 challenger

so ive had this for quite some time. i do not like to repaint old bikes but this one was too gone.. oxidization process turned the original red into a peach color (no self respecting man with his entire body tattooed should be on a pinkish bike) and the top bar was sanded down to metal. with...
