Don't know if it's too late but I have a 67 Schwinn speedster wheel set with the three-speed coaster brake hub and the sturmy Archer shifter and cable and pulley and frame clamps. The rims are perfectly straight and the Chrome is in pretty decent shape little bit of rust there but can clean up...

The Springer looks pretty cool without the struts, but does it sacrifice any structural strength? Nice bike by the way... Love the wheels

thanks, but that wont work. Too wide for the frame and it wont fit an S6 rim. thanks, but trust me...Im "schwinned out" when it comes to looking at weird schwinn sizes. I could write a book on it by now. I was hoping someone knew of a wide (1.75) tire that would fit an S6 rim, but apparently...

Anybody know if a blackwall ribbed 26x1.75 exists for an S6 rim? I have a 67 speedster w the S6 rims and the replacements are the super skinny ribbed 26x1.35...closest ive seen are the duro small bricks (26x1.75) which is what im going to use if I cant find a wider ribbed tire...with standard 26...

Matching '67 speedster and breeze 26ers. Got a ridiculous deal on both. Ive already started the transition on the speedster, not sure what im going to do with the breeze. The 3rd pic is the FB post..."before" pic.

Not sure. But I don't have the bike in my possession anymore. I gave it to a buddy of mine on permanent loan for a display to go in his old fashioned mercantile that he's opening up... With the caveat that if he ever doesn't want it anymore he has to give it back to me.
