dig em both...especially the chrome one. As far as keeping mine original, it will be for the most part, except for the cranks and pedals. I took the foam off the bars cuz I didn't like it, and the grips were junk. So I have new grips on the way, and the cranks are coming off my 62 typhoon.

Thx wildcat. I still have the rear wheel to de-rust-ify...the front wheel turned out beeyootiful. Gonna re-grease the cranks, maybe put a set of Schwinn cranks on there. Ill post some pics when the rear wheel is done. I dig the bmx style, but these bars are soo nice, I cant bring myself to take...

That chrome one is pretty sick

So I picked it up today. Ended up talkin em down to 65 bux American. Still have a little cleaning up to do, but got rid of the foam on the bars, the reflectors, made some adjustments and voila! Pretty sweet little knock around ride...a little re grease here and there...good as new

I know the terms "Klunker", & "Strandie" and the debate over what makes which one which...But I was thrown for a loop this AM when I read a term I have never heard of before this morning: "BOMBER". so that's a confusing question...not sure I understand. The factory Schwinn lower bearing race, that actually goes on the fork stem itself has too small of an ID to fit around the landing gear fork stem. That is the only part I used from another headset. The rest of the parts were all factory...
