    MONSON MA Time Again Brrrrrr

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the date this year? I've seen a few different dates in different places.

    My Dudley Swap Meet Finds

Too bad the Ross doesn't have a canti cruiser frame. Would have been nasty... but then I suppose you'd feel bad about robbing the wheels. Wish I could have made it to the show. Nice finds!

    1998-2000 Apple Krate

I say leave the rust! Looks like a well-survived old Schwinn that way  You'd fool a lot of people. Just pull the Made in Taiwan sticker off

    GREAT 2 DAYS IN KANSAS

I've seen more than a few Huffy built Monarks. So I would say that is what you have.

    Very Strange Frame

It's a Colson. Those frames are S-O-L-I-D. Had a complete '49 Blister tank and it was the nicest of all the old bicycles I've owned.

Found on the Rail Road tracks. Really.

    Great story! Neat bike.

    Need some Bike info...please

That's Snyder built for sure. The dropouts, fork crown, crank, and upper rear stay all Snyder signature.

    should I buy this?????

That's worth $50 all day long. In fact, I bet you could sell the springer alone for $50. You certainly won't lose money on it, that's for sure. I think it is very slavageable, too. Nothing looks rusted beyond repair. Looks solid enough, honestly. Look how dent free the fenders and braces are...

    1950's(?) Trash Find...

Awesome find! Nice and crusty  Also, sent you a pm about the light.

    Pawn Shop Hawthorne

I have had these springers before, and as I recall, they don't stop it from working (although it sure looks that way!). If I am remembering correctly, the front wheel bolts onto the truss that goes up under the spring (and not actually to the fork itself), thus allowing the spring to do its thing.

Exactly what I was thinking.

    Restoring 1950 Monark..Turquoise..FINISHED 2nd build

TIGHT!! I love the color, incredible resto job.

    1952 Schwinn??

While they are very cool, I don't think the pedals are worth a lot. I'm pretty sure you can get them for like $20 a set new. Just a cute beach cruiser pedal, that's all.

    I smell a rat

Rat it up! You've got a great platform to start with, now make it your own.

    20" SCHWINN CRUISER - MX

That's a killer bike! It belongs on your mantle (and it would probably fit up there, too! )

    Schwinn Cruiser Find

Ozzy is right, it's not a '69, but that is in no way bad news! That's a nice coaster brake bomber that won't disappoint you. I'm digging the BMX fork, and it even looks like the wheels have heavy spokes. It's porbably 100% original as you see it right now. The Town and Country is mint.

    1956 JC Higgins

Though this doesn't necessarily say much about your particular bike, it has some of Adam's wisdom on another JCH mystery. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=49991 (also links back to the thread about a member's Stelber made JCH, which I think I saw posted here already)

    Good Goodwill Find???

    The second bike looks European.

    Bittersweet day (Updated, this fixable?)

Hey, that is definitely fixable. My advice would be as follows: 1. Get a small tube that either fits snugly or is machined to fit within the old downtube (machined fit would probably be better... probably cheap an easy enough too, just get a smaller diameter tube that is close and have it...
