I saw you a few times and meant to say Hi but it slipped my mind. Guess I'll have to meet you next year!

    Monson Swap Meet Finds

Hey, were you the other "kid"? I scooted out before I had a chance to meet you, I apologize if that was you! I was the one with the tan baseball hat and brown sweatshirt + Nirvana tee... glad to see you took something home

    JC Higgins Ballooner

That is one beautiful bike. Sorry that you have to sell it.

Can anyone one guess what this is?

    +1! Definitely a CBC/Ross bike.

    Is it really a '65?

I can't offer any insights on the year, but... the serial number seems interesting; M502 is the way that the serial no.'s of Murray built Sears bikes began (at least, I think so!). Perhaps the Murray built WF's all had serial no.'s starting with just M02.

    GIRLS TANKER 40S? 50? idk

    Definitely Murray made.

    Sequoia ATB 10 Speed

The dropouts look Huffy- that is probably not a bad guess.

    Cool Blue(Look what I found!)

Re: Cool Blue(Update 3/13) -This thing is going to be nasty. I love Colson's. I had a 1949 blister tank myself at 14 years of age. I am impressed with your bikes... you've got me beat and I just turned 17. :D Keep it up! Always good to see other 'kids' into this!

    Log Cabin Finds

Another great way to strip non factory paint off the original is Simple Green cleaner. I find a good soaking in a concentrated Simple Green bath does the trick nice. Even shines up the O.G. paint.

MONSON MA Bike Swap Meet PICTURES ADDED 3/27

Re: MONSON MA Bike Swap Meet MARCH 27th I should be able to make it. Can't wait. I think this will be my fourth year... never a disappointment!

+1! Just about anything is save-able if you want to put the time and energy in.

    small score

Sweet finds, and sweeter setup! To add to the confusion... I don't think it's a Murray chainring either. I can't really tell what the smallest holes are, but I *think* the Murray sprockets aren't flat (there's a beveled edge which offsets the teeth from the chainring itself; the teeth and...

    Westfield Airider Special

Holy crow! This is beautiful and I've come back to the thread many times, but I never noticed the Worcester plate until now. Is that a Worcester, Mass. plate? It sure looks like one... I've got matching Columbia's with the same plate. I live 30 minutes south or Worcester... amazing that this...

straight bar frame need help on id

The chainring is definitely Murray. I'm not sure about the fork. My gut says Snyder (chainguard and fork crown are giving me Snyder vibes!), but I really don't know for sure.

It's French!, it's Pink!, at least it's Ratty!

+1. I would be super happy to have found that beast... cool as is but definitely an awesome stash of parts too. The straight tubular fork with brake studs is a nice score in my mind...

My fresh Finds from St. Louis Area Swap Meet

What a haul! NICE. Are those hubs all NOS as I assume the brake parts are?

    1939 BFG motorbike

That thing is IT. Looks really well made... the craftsmanship is remarkable... I vote klunker all the way.

    Chrome won't get you home

I vote to leave it as is. The rust adds a lot, IMO... gives it an old school look- not that it wasn't classic already, but the patina helps it really fit the bill
