Got more done on the mock-up. Got the #5 pool ball on the shifter. It's coming right along.....

Nothing really new to report. Just some piddling, mostly. Had to get some pieces from a buddy in order to get the brake caliper mounted properly. The chain guard in the 'stash' was for a 24" bike so, a trip to the hardware store to find something to "bridge" the gap between the original...

Little Dude trial fitting the rear wheel. He learned how to mount the tire to the wheel and is now airing it up! He's proud as punch!

And, I wanna' say "Thanks" to all of the comments about this build. Like I said this is for my 6-year old son. It's his very first banana seat bike and he's WAY excited. He and I checked out the comments tonight. He's stoked to say the least. This is bunches of fun. Thanks again.

This is what we found in the parts stash, so far. Going to be a 5-speed. Not the correct rear wheel, obviously.

Well, it's slightly modified. Nothing radical. Just themed differently than what Huffy actually offered. Can't figure out how to post pics. What am I missing? I'm guessing it would probably fit into Class 1.

Well, my 6-year old decided he wanted a cool-mack-daddy banana seat bike like his Daddy's. So, we grabbed a bunch of spare parts out of the stash. Here we go......
