Tires are actually Schwinn Stingray Tires from when they were being reproduced during the 90's. Picked them up a while back and had them stashed away for another project but decided they were right for this bike instead.

It's rattle can Krylon, the Metallics line. Cool paint and lays on pretty easy. Lots of cool colors and no silver base oat needed. Just get a good primer base coat nice and smooth then apply multiple light coats and top with Krylon Gloss clear. Just watch the clear with decals/stickers it is not...

Ok, all the paint is on finally, bike has been wet sanded to smooth it out and clear sealed, then clear coated to achieve a nice gloss finish. Then I got on to the decals, and did a little test fitting and assembly of a few parts. Headbadge is new old stock and the colors match the frame...

Got the 2nd and 3rd coats of paint on yesterday. Looking good post a few more pics later, then it's on to a lot of wet sanding.
