    Wow! I like that fork. What size (height) are those ape hangers. I'm thinking of using a pair but don't want to go to small or too tall.

    I was able to remove that broken stem bolt, A spray of CRC penetrant, a long bolt and a tap with a hammer did the trick. Still unsure what direction this bike is headed, but I will start with a dismantle and cleaning. A slow start for this turtle.

    I'm not sure of the year of this bike. I did not see a serial # on the underside of the crank. I assumed that is where I would find it. Does anyone know where I would find it??? Headset? Downtube?

    Thank you! With the handlebars or anything that was originally chrome, I used a fine sanding sponge first then steel wool (#000). I then used self etching primer on everything I was painting. Back again to the steel wool, then several coats of Copper spray paint that I purchased from an Ace...

    I strongly agree! Thank you Kingfish for the encouragement, especially with a newbie builder. Much appreciated. Choosing just 3 is impossible, There are so many fantastic bikes, I had to just choose what three I would love to have in my garage.
