This is my first attempt at covering a bike seat. I selected the seat on the right to be my first victim. I will be using this automotive headliner glue, cost around $10 for a can. I will be using this womans jacket that I picked up at a local thrift store for $5.99. I like the pattern on the...

I've been working on smoothing out the rear fender brackets. Cleaning up the welds, a little grinding, a little filler, a little sanding, a little more sanding, and finally primer and paint. I think it now flows nice. and I purchased a headlight, that I plan to mount to the front tip of the...

I like that logo and Kid Rock video! The best concert I attended was his birthday party at Ford field. I'm assuming your bike will be waving a "Chilling' the Most" flag?

I finally got around to playing with the fenders. I wanted to go without a front fender and bob the back fender. Well I was using the front fender tip as a guide as to the shape I wanted to cut the back fender. My son then suggested to cut the back fender and weld half the front fender on to the...

Hmmmm, I never thought of that. I have some scrap pieces around, I think I will give that a try.

I had an idea for a rear fender strut. So we welded a pair on to the bike.

Years ago I gave my welder to my son. I figured he would get more use out of it than me, plus I could always go over and use it. We used the welder quite a bit, when together we worked on a father/son 57 Chevy project. I then sold the car to my son for a dollar. He did do a lot of the work on...

I put some old wheels, a seat I bought this year, the original rusty handlebars etc. on the bike to see where I'm at with this build. So this is sort of a mock up test...only a test, to see what I like and don't like. I would like to bob the rear fender and add a bracket (plant bracket probably...

That seat is very cool. Your right that textured paint does spray out like wet sand.

I like the fork and the light, they go well together. Nice work on the kickstand.

Yes I felt this paint easily wanted to run, but because it was textured it never showed the runs that I was expecting once it had dried. A very forgiving paint when I had to get paint into very tight areas.

My appologies for erractic postings. Other projects and Honey-do's have me spinning and I feel I don't have the time to do what I want to do...such as work on this bike build. My appologie for not going into a lot of detail, I'm not sure if some things are interesting or just boring. My nieghbor...

Well after 2 weeks of illness I'm back and ready to get back to buildin'. I spent that time watching the other builds and I am just amazed and jealous of the innovated and talented bike building skills. So I was looking to add something to my bike. I did not have a tank and considered building a...
