Crash, with your skillset, I'm not sure why you don't try a recover. Get a repop ( I like the Pyramid seats but the colors are sort-of matte solid red, not glitter or glossy ).... then remove cover from new seat, and install on original seat ( so you get the right shape instead of the repops...

I think an eliminator guard would be flat enough to do with chrome vinyl. I actually bought some auto wrap vinyl, and am going to try on some fenders, will post once I try it out.

Do you have a spare chainguard ? If I could get my hands on one I could have a few made up, as I know a couple fabricators. might not be exact but should be able to get close - going to give a go at the early ( Tall frame style ) guard, since I have one to copy .
