I took one made for a bike and bent (heated rod to cherry red to bend it) the rod at the right place then cut off what was not needed. Then I bolted it to where the back brake was before I removed it.

I agree 110% with Luke on this...

Not in the build off, but I did rebuild it a couple weeks back. Changed out the wheels from plastic to spoke and added a kickstand.

The top one looks like it would be the stronger of the two and has a cleaner look. You could even build to look like it has a rear suspension setup, which would give the frame some character I think you were trying for in the bottom mock up.

But it wouldn't have the same flavor of history....

I have never tried to bend stainless steel so I have no reference to how it bends. To the unlearned about this it would seem silly that something just a little over a 1/16" (5/64") thick would be hard to bend. Now knowing stainless steel is tougher than steel it does make sense.

Nope it can be done by welding a layback post to the one that the seat attaches to now. It would look like a handlebars goose neck without the handlebars clamp part.

Has anybody sent a PM to the ones that are doing the above stated comments and talked to them about this? They may not notice what it is they are doing.

An angle grinder and welder can fix that right up.

I didn't get any pictures last night as I tested the headlight. Looks good, but I do think it needs to be updated to an LED setup.

You may want to think about converting this to a three piece crank setup. I think your weak point is going to be right there in the middle. With the three piece crank you could make a standard three piece crank axle long and one solid piece. Then you would either weld a three piece BB shell...

Don't you just hate it when they hide like that and just when you thought you got them all one pops up out of no where. Then you realize it is just what you need for what you are doing just now..... :D

Thanks to @Chainsaw the MiniPixieRay looks and handles so much better. I now have an 18 inch OCC Jr front wheel that makes the bike allot better.
