Yes, the GM has some silver sparkle in it. Brown is definitely NOT an MB color, sooo I hope it works... She does ride real nice, Carl. No way you can pull wheelies though. One less thing for me to worry about(a wheelie bar). I sure am making a lot of work for myself with this one. Waiting on...

Here ya go Carl... You got me thinking and I'm toying with knife tops for my phatty bars. This is an Italian machete. It's my favorite camp knife. It has a reversed curve on the blade. I took the basic shape and shortened it to get the length that I want. I'm not sure if I'll be going this route...

Edit: Sorry for blowing up your thread. For some reason I can't get the edits to stick on the above postings. I went to my LUBS and he had a few of the smaller bikes. They have 1 1/8" fork tubes and the steer tube is shorter... so these trees won't work with out modifications.... major!

Your wheels are awesome... as always! One of the reasons you win these build offs is because of your "OCD". The small(or in my opinion the big) details are where the rubber meets the road. The kit for the chain guard is one of those details, and the fender, and the rims, and on and on and on...

I don't think #1 detracts at all! This is just a slightly custom bike... (wink) So my vote is to go with one and keep the custom going. Looking great, Luke.

The fork tubes are 1 1/4". I'm not sure if the smaller bikes have the same diameter tubes.
