~?What Else Do You Collect ?~

Just as most of us do, I also collect a few things although most of my collections have been amassed over the past 25 years and are generally of a motoring theme that include die cast models cars, cardboard cut outs of racing drivers, assorted motoring memorabilia, coins, motorsport team flags...

    any shooters in the group??

As the username would suggest I don't mind having the occasional shot. Although I am more interested in target shooting as a sport but I still enjoy getting out into the field as well. Before I gave up shooting years ago as a junior (as it was costing me heaps and a 1st year apprentice wages...

    G'day from Victoria, Australia

Thanks OzBroz, yep I am out in that general direction as well. Looking to go for a couple of leisurely cruises along the foreshores (Mordialloc through to Port Melbourne) over the summer for a lazy Sat/Sun brunch - but not that full distance at once!! Just looking around for another beach...

    Before & After Pics

It's Mark and yep he was quite helpful as most parts for this bike were sources from there.

    Before & After Pics

Great site you have here, I am loving it as well as getting ideas. The rims are an Araya 36H knock-off in anodised red from eBay and then had to buy a new front hub as didn't realise at the time that the original front was a 28H until I was lacing it up with new spokes..... and the tyres are...

    G'day from Victoria, Australia

Thanks Luke, I did briefly get up to 10 bikes as had to buy 3 to get the one that I wanted! Luckily there was a small girls Mongoose so I gave that to my niece as her dad (my brother) has a bit of a collection of old school Mongoose BMX's and Kos Cruisers but she is only 3 months old. The other...

    G'day from Victoria, Australia

P.S. - The bike doesn't look all that big in the photo above but at just under 2.7m long it is certainly different to ride compared to my MTB

    G'day from Victoria, Australia

Hi All, Probably jumped the gun a little and posted in a couple of other threads first (how can you not as there is some great work going on here!!). Have always grown up with bikes and after a recent incident and quite a bit of rehab with my leg it led me back into bikes again as bike riding...

(MBBO#04 Class 2) PEDRO. (PEDRO GOT A NEW OWNER!)

I suppose I am a bit lucky Luke as it is part of everyday work and although I never drive them all that far, I still have the opportunity to drive them which is far sight closer than I'll get to ever owning them!!! Here is a slight taster of a few that I come into contact with...

(MBBO#04 Class 2) PEDRO. (PEDRO GOT A NEW OWNER!)

Slightly off topic but also after having one of these posters up on the wall it was all that I wanted..... that was until I actually got to drive one!! Part of my job involves driving cars like this and at 6'3" I was so bitterly disappointed after 20 odd years of desire...
