I ordered a bunch of parts from Worksman to replace the ones that were damaged during disassembly. They should be here in 10 days. I tried a mahogany stain on scrap birch. It’s about time to build a box.

Pretty sure I can hear the seat post laughing at me.

$15 Harbor Freight. It worked fine. For the amount I am going to use it I didn’t want to make much of an investment.

I need to get serious about this bike soon. A friend gave me two of these today but they need to be chrome if I am going to use them. I got the fender mounted today. I am hoping to get paint tomorrow.

While wandering through an antique store on vacation I came across this mirror for $4. I am not sure if I will use it but I figured I better get it just in case.

Interesting look but I am not ready to get the saw out yet. I like that squared off shape but not the size of the opening. My first truck was an 1983 Chevy.

I bought a plastic welder from Harbor freight and got both fenders together. They need some sanding but are close to done. I also made a bracket to strengthen them and to mount them While I was wandering around the lumberyard I found my chain guard and possibly a rear rack.

Today I decided I should take the day off. I have a good start to a fender but it needs some more work

My “fenders” arrived today, a lot sooner than I thought. They are just about an inch longer than the wheel. Hopefully I can adjust them to get the proper look.

I haven’t gave up on this yet. This build started as I was starting a kitchen remodel. Another short three to five years that should be done. I have been focused on fenders for this. I want that 40’s or 50’s woody look and if the fenders are not right I don’t think I will have it. I thought...

Nobody told me mahogany was expensive. I figured I better come up with a design before I went to the lumberyard. Still have no idea how to do the fenders

Lesson 1: Get my drill and find some bolts. Lesson 2: Don’t turn on an incline.

Last night I realized I have never seen a Worksman with a banana seat. Now I have but I don’t know if it is staying.

I drove a couple hours after work in January 2018 for this Worksman. I handed the guy $60 and brought it home where it sat since. My initial intention was to build an ice cream cart. The more I thought about it I decided to go a more creative route. I won’t win any races with this but it will...
