I have seen those seats striped before, usually orange or green stripes. My grandfather was a strip pit mine reclaimator, which basicly meant he hunted a lot. I grew up thinking Benelli and Mossberg were the only companies that made shotguns. :D

it took a month or so before the Beast started showing up in Wal-marts everywhere around here, the dolomite was out of stock faster than the Beast was though. Toys R Us has the blue /orange beast versions, still some Beasts on the floor at local WM's here. The Pacific distributor had 3 greens...

look for bikes with wheels smaller than 20" and you will usually find some small sprockets that will work with one piece cranks. I think yoothgeye has converted some of the 25t sprockets from porkchopbmx to work on a one piece crank too.

I agree. I know the later Walds had a big flat spot on them but the ones I'm used to seeing on the Hawthornes had bigger ribs to them. I would guess it's an early universal guard myself.

Pacific factory direct store sells tires for $3 a pop, walk in only. maybe there's something similar near you ?

I'd agree with the Skyway / Huffy thoughts. Cant think of one that came with them. If they did have mags I would expect them to be safelites or one of the lesser brands. Could be wrong though. I'd bet it started out as a Sigma or similar bike.

Put a 20t on mine out of the box and the pressure is kept pretty low, haven't done anything more than escort my boy on his bike to the park or playing around in parking lots though myself. Lots of "watch me ride over this" going on though lol

Used to use the igniters for rocket engines in the lids of milk jugs and soda bottles ... filled with gas .... :whistle: I will add as a disclaimer I blew my eye out with a bottle rocket at 8 years old and have no feeling in my right hand from a separate incident .... don't do what I have done.
