If you really want to learn, check out your local community college. I took TIG classes and actually ended up qualifying for a grant I had no idea I would qualify for when I filled out the financial aid forms. In the end, the state of Georgia paid entirely for me to learn how to weld!

I'll be there with my dad and uncle. We will be representing muscle bike, BMX, and klunker! We hope to have a few parts for sale/swap too.

I love how it looks...don't use it much though. The pads are kind of...dry rotten? They have worn down a lot, they are hard, and they are marking up my rim. Might look at getting some new pads.

Pretty sure I'm going to invest in the Thule Raceway Platform 2 for hauling mine around.

Did Krates (including remakes) ever come without the drum-brake hub in the front? Reason I ask is I bought what was listed as a 1999 Krate wheel/tire combo on eBay to use on my Swingbike. Got the wheel and it wouldn't work (3/8" axle instead of 5/16", and the hub was too wide), but I did take...

Just put my Swingbike together last weekend and it has a Weinmann 810 side-pull caliper on the front. When riding the bike around the right side of the brake (viewed when seated on the bike) drags on the rim unless I reach down and pull everything to that side, then it's fine until I grab the...
