Ok guys, I have a few surprises for you. This is where the "swamp thing" comes together, like I pictured it in my head. I'll share some with you tomorrow. I also have been busy, I have a few tricks up my sleeve...

Test fitting fork and fender...

Had to rethread the fork another 1.5" just need to trim off the top now.

I've had this for a few years, got it cheap locally. I guess its it's kind of rare and one year only, 1936 ward's Hawthorne. I think it's going on the swamp thing...

Also an ebay purchase arrived today, not sure what it's off of, advertised as 1920s. Its glass lens and pretty cool. Quick rattle can over the gloss black. Put led bulb in it like I did in the front, crazy bright and save a ton on battery consumption.

Adding some more rusty gold accessories...

I've decided although this is the correct Huffman Springer for this frame, it's not right for this project. Beehive it is.

Found a drop stand and Springer for my huffman frame, I think I like the beehive better though...choices

So I couldn't decide on the bars, I had a pair apes too far gone for anything nice, but didn't think they went with my build. So I cut them up...

Not much new over here, just thinking about handlebars. At a stand still waiting, I need a fork yet. Theres a local bicycle swapmeet this weekend hoping to find some rusty gold...I can see it done in my head...:rolleyes:

Thanks, this build is so much fun! Its awesome to bring back life to this bike that was left for dead. I have a line on a beehive style springer, hoping to snag that and mount the light on it. I'm torn on what bars to use, I have been trying to keep all the parts I've been using period correct...

Can't leave anything alone...
