Going to try a modify fender for the rear. need to trim so it fits nicely on frame. If it works going to look great if not no fenders. Not really sure on apes just yet, but that looks like the way I will be going.

Update, the TUXEDO TYPHOON has a new owner. One of my long time neighbors who has seen all of the bikes I have built. Stopped me while I was riding around yesterday after mowing. He wanted to ride it returned and made a offer good enough to entice me to sell it. Never got rid of one so fast, but...

That looks great how much rise are the apes. Trying to decide how big I should go.

Have been working on this off and on for a few months, just decided to go ahead and finish it.

I purchased a set of 65mm rims to try and use on a DYNO GLIDE I had at the time. Turned out they where to big for the rear triangle. So I had this rather expensive set of rims just sitting around taunting me from the corner of my garage. Went to bicycle swap meet one weekend and found a 1980...

Few pictures from this evening after dinner, new rims came in today. Installed Schwinn Mag wheel sprocket original was really far gone serious pitting. Will continue to try and make decision about handlebars. Think a nice set of apes just be in order.

Thanks for all the positive comments, suggestion for handlebars. I'm a big fan of Apes just don't know if right for this bike.

Update time got back from powder this afternoon, buffed and polished headset cups and replaced little plastic pieces that fill holes in front and rear of rack. Got them a Lowes for a buck a piece also installed chainguard decal. Will install headset and bottom bracket over the next day or so...

Yes had pretty much come to that conclusion on tire size, toying with the idea of a set of Thick Slick seeing that they are 26x2.0

Going with Red like on the Chainguard and that is what was under the gray spray bomb.

Got a new decal for chainguard being made at local sign shop, frame and forks dropped off at powder coater yesterday. Will post pictures early next week.

Got the kickstand out, as I said mine had no pin just had to slightly bend tabs on outer ring of round frame mount to allow kickstand to slide right out. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for the diagram, the one I have doesn't appear to have the pin, or maybe I'm missing it. Cannot send pictures from work will try later. Mine looks just like this just no pin.
