Picked this one up real cheap. Needed tires & a good once over. It is a fun little, all original bike. I bought it for the wheels, nice Araya alloys. I re-worked it with some newer wheels and have it for re-sale locally.

Picked up the Earth Cruiser frame today, it will use the original chrome fork.

Not sure, don't know much about them. I have seen a couple on here though. I picked this one up for $35 from a bike hoarder locally on CL.

The Ross is a classic double diamond "Eurotour" with a "1020 Steel Lug Frame, Allentown PA" decal.

Yeah but the set is funny. The front rim is like others I've seen with a ridge line running along the spoke face of the rim, on each side of the spokes. The back rim has a flat spoke surface, kind of hard to explain. But both have the same Araya stamp, match in color, & appear to be similar in age.

Restoring a friend's Earth Cruiser he bought new back in the day. Also doing a Worksman INB for his son & decided to piggyback the Emory "no-bar" for some economies of scale at the powder coater. The Emory will likely be a project for next winter.

You did what I would have done. You probably might have been able to offer him $400, stole his bike & sent him on his way thinking he got a deal. M2600 Klunkers are pretty cool. I would love to build (another) one!
