    ~ Unusual ~ Kelly bars ~ > SOLD <

These are cool. Why aren't all handlebars adjustable? Especially now with all of the processes being easier to complete on a mass-production level. Anyways, the price is looking decent and you at least have my attention. I have not yet received the frame they would go on, so I can't choose a...

How about a ... change build off?

Of course it is for you. You have conversion tanks on tap!

Dayton-Columbia, as close to done as it will ever be.

I don't usually care for excessively long bicycles, but I like the look of this one. I do have one idea, or maybe opinion rather...or both. In regard to the headtube under the bb, maybe you could grind off the front lowest portion of it, and weld in a curved bar that attaches to the lowest bend...

    1947 Saginaw Powerbike build.

I just did the same with a wire cup and wire wheel. Didn't get the quills too bad, but did have several stuck in my pant legs.

Looks like a Schwinn to me, but...

It looks to me like a Huffy with Schwinn parts thrown on it.

"The Quest" railway bike... am I missing something?

So, I was watching "The Quest" (1986), with Henry Thomas, which I haven't watched in years. In the beginning, he has outfitted a Schwinn Cruiser 5 to ride on railroad rails. The other children seem pretty ecstatic about his endeavor to reach higher speeds. Was this an actual phenomenon which I...

    (ORBO) BMX/MTB/BOMBER/KLUNKER BO .....VOTING FINISHED!......

Funny story, I didn't know that this buildoff existed until 30 minutes ago. I have also been mentally envisioning a klunker build because of an abundance of prewar and postwar frames being in my way, in addition to a front drum brake wheel sitting around. I'm kind of curious if the general tone...

    'Total' Nancy Pants, the album.

They've got groove for sure. The second song reminded me a bit of Oingo Boingo.

    Flux wire welding

I have the Eastwood Mig 135 and a cheap Century from Walmart that I bought maybe 7 years ago . The Eastwood is nice because of heat control, it ranges 25A-135A I think. I like it, but the ground clamp and a few other components seem a bit cheap. Also, it can be used with gas, and comes set up...

Did you get that light from me? I can't remember, but I do know I sold one on here.

    Clean crusty bearings?

Definitely works good. Dries my hands out really bad and cracks the skin though. That might just be me, my hands are super rough from work, but maybe wear gloves.

    Wheel tire combo help

I agree. I NEVER use 1.75 tubes unless I have middle weight tires. For anything else I use the 2.125 tubes, sometimes 1.95-2.125 if it is all I have on hand.

Any chance you could post a pic of the other side of the bike so we can see the artwork you described?

    Consistantly Inconsistant vs 9 to 5 M-F

I'm still trying to figure out if the thread title is mis-spelled on purpose just to be funny or seem inconsistent (note correct spelling) LOL. But I've had a similar situation where I posted a grill for a 53 pickup and sold it dirt cheap. Then a year later a guy calls me out of the blue...

I think it would be awesome to start a build right now. Find out how I do under extreme pressure.

Funny CL Ad - Overpriced Junk For Sale - Available Anywhere

I know I've posted this one on another thread here, but this is Rule#1 all day. All decade, in fact. This bike has been on CL here for 10 years+, that I know of. That's how long I've had internet access. It was likely on there long before I saw it. He had it at $350 for a looong time, then...

    Game changer in welding?

For some reason I took it to mean that you were on a bicycle miles from anywhere. Makes more sense now. I've welded with car batteries before, but there's no fun story or anything. I just wanted to see if it would work.
