    SA 3-speed Dynohub

I don't know a lot about these. Just curious what I should value it at to sell. 40-hole . All gears work. It is stamped 55 and was on a Rudge. It powered all of the lights fine. I tried to get a reading on the power by putting my tester on the leads and spinning it by hand. It shows voltage, but...

ELITISM IN RAT ROD BIKE COMMUNITY?

I'm not too good with bikes. Not very knowledgable about them either. I'm about as intelligent as an oily rag. But I'm good at being a bicycle elitist, which is extremely confusing for me.

    1900s Crescent Bicycle?

I believe some of these British bikes were badged as Calrke, Century, and Collegiate, as well, so that could account for the "C" light bracket.

    1900s Crescent Bicycle?

And I don't mean to downplay the value. It's still a cool bike. Love the headtube.

    1900s Crescent Bicycle?

On westrick style rod brake rims the tires will likely cost you $15-$20 each, $25+ if you want creme colored ones. Similar bikes are still being produced. They were all switched to 26" for a while, but 28" is back now. For what it's worth, I had a VERY similar Phillips badged bike. I'd guess...

    Bicycle Demolition derby

The latter you describe was our derby when we were kids. The jousting is fun, but I won't do it from a tall bike. You just get a long pole, usually pvc, and ducktape a large bulky piece of foam to the end, wrap that with a rag and tape or tie the rag too. Then just act like a knight with a...

    Bicycle Demolition derby

I was in Richmond in 95-97, I was doing the jousting. Of course now on Belle Isle they have Slaughterama, where they do tall bike jousting and way worse. Also I think NJ has Black Label Bicycle Club, and they are way into the freakbikes and jousting.

    South east swaps, bike shows?

Floride has some good shows, but most of them have just recently passed and might be a while before the next one.

The "Grungy Goodyear"! Ready To Go!

It's really not that grungy. Just a nice looking bike with a little bit of patina. But cleaner , less worn, and nicer than most of my bikes

    Unocycle.

Atomic Zombie Bicycles has a cool build layout on their site that reminds me of this. It is a wheel with the BB forward of it, but it has shopping cart casters out back for drifting.

    Unocycle.

I didn't know you were adding skate wheels. I was curious how one would ride it with just the one wheel. It reminds me of the training wheel and handlebar kit they sell for unicyclists to learn with.

    Bicycle Demolition derby

What the guy in the first video is doing is just wasteful and unwarranted. I saw "bicycle demolition derby" and thought it would be like the events we used to participate in when I lived in Richmond, VA. In those cases we actually built frankenbikes from random parts and tried to ruin each...

    Ebay issue... maybe

That's my thought. Definitely not worth the risk. Anybody that is insistent in bending the terms of the sale can't be trusted. It's just a klaxon horn, there's loads of em out there, he can just grab the next one.

    Ebay issue... maybe

I didn't block bidders because I always do and lately it was showing up already blocking them. But in the section where you select the countries you ship to, mine was only U.S. Plus I stated it in the description. So far the guy is telling me he is a big shot for a big company and that I have to...

What kind of ebay seller are you?

That's how I saw it. Other people probably saw the same angle I did, and possibly believed the fork to be bent slightly. Seeing that it was not may be why his auction went through the roof. Yayy! I helped!

    Rig a Bendix manual 2-speed

The correct knuckle looks cheap enough. I have a huffy 2-speed shifter from an 80's mtb, if that might work.

    Rig a Bendix manual 2-speed

So, I have an old Bendix manual 2-speed wheel laying around. Hub is a little crusty on the outer shell, but otherwise a nice smooth hub. Is there a way to operate this hub without the original shift knuckle and shifter? I have seen some 3-speeds that use a knuckle that pushes a rod in rather...

What kind of ebay seller are you?

I know these issues come up from time to time, and we all say " I'm such a good seller, blah blah blah". But this situation made me think about how people try to twist things and guilt you into or out of something. I had a bicycle on my watch list. It appeared in the pics to have the fork bent...
