Swap meets, at least the respectable ones, are always held rain or shine and this is no different. The show bikes will be safe and dry under a huge gazebo with plenty of room for spectators to find shelter as well. I'll have my ez-up set up on my spot as well for any of us that need to escape...

Picked this up locally yesterday. I don't know too much about it other than it being late 20s and the patina just oozes coolness! Going to be looking to get some modern wheels on this thing and get her riding.

Oh heck no, I will not be discouraged at all! The wife and kid decided not to go but I will either drive up that morning or the night before and camp out down the road. Bringing a couple of bikes to show and a few that I can get talked out of for the right deal ;)

The drop outs on both the forks and rear are not GT and all the parts look to be knock offs. Also, all Dynos of that era had straight down tubes so not Dyno either. While name brand 80s BMX/freestyle bikes can bring good money lower end knock offs like this have little value.

As a collector that is also a re-seller I would be looking to buy that bike in the $350 range and probably looking to get $500-$550 out of it. Im on the East coast where old bikes are plentiful, I would Imagine in some other areas of the country (especially out West) it could bring a fair amount...

The mens bike looks to be a 40ish Colson snap tank. Im sure Tyler will chime in with more details on it soon. He seems to be our resident Colson guy.

Here is an 81 Super Goose I sold a few months back that also did not have the flat chain stay. There have been a few SG show up without the flat stays but if it has the 2 extra holes in the brake bridge it is 100% a SG. I believe if it was a Team Goose there would be a T with the serial #.
