It’s alive! I upgraded the indicator chain to a newer Sachs clamp style. The vintage cable connectors have a tendency to bend. New headlight arrived and is super bright but proportionally too small. The internals didn’t fit in the old one...infuriatingly close, would not latch. I stuck it below...

Got this ‘74 Fastback frame pretty much free with the purchase of a Stingray. Going for as cheap a build as possible. Quickly becoming a favorite. Was going the BMX route but it keeps working out muscle bike style. Not sure if the tank stays or not. I do think the rear tire needs to be beefier...

Busted the bent wire loop connector on the adjuster for the indicator chain. Admittedly the cable chain is wandering as I hunt for the right clamps so I can ditch zip tie city. Looking for a more robust solution. Anyone know if the later SRAM indicator chain threads are the same for all Torpedo...

Not sure if the ‘naner stays but these bars were the most stable. Nimble little guy, tires pumped to 80 and it rolls better than most in the stable.

Well, plans change. Jumpin fast back, it’s a gas! Too much fun! Just needs new pedals and bit o rust remover.

The Meters, everything by The Meters. Saw bassist George Porter Jr play once in New Orleans. His guitar player told me the story behind this one was they were going to the studio and their car had a cylinder that kept missing...so they wrote this on the way and recorded it as soon as they arrived.
