When I do my next (3) worksman projects, I will de braze the tabs for the chain guards with a torch and hand file to suit. On my first I used an angle grinder with flap wheel as I was unaware they were brazed on....... Made some irreparable "dents"....... Won't be doing that again.

I have 3 places I go to. One is cheap, about 70, but quick and decent One about 85, and it's stunning (but far away and odd hours, doesn't mesh with my work schedule) One is 95, great job, but lacks in the color samples department. They did my worksman frame/fork, including blasting/stripping.

I spent 3 years with no car, just a motorcycle, last year when I got back into dirt riding I decided it was time for a truck. In a few months, I'll be back in a cargo van (sold it in 2008 when gas went buck wild) Vans are the best, lock up your stuff, sleep in it, stuff doesn't get wet...

I use rok-straps around my handlebars and tie it town motorcycle style in the bed of my truck. Rok-straps are sweet in that there's no metal hooks, just loop it, and it's got a stiff flat bungee cord section on the end of the strap. Cinch er down and she's good to go

yeah, i wouldn't have done gold and orange..... yuck. i can do another, but likely won't, at least for a while. unless someone buys this thing out from under me while I'm riding it.

when i was thinking gold wheels, i was thinking all gold bits, sprocket pedals, stem, etc etc...... then i found the profile blackjack sprocket I've wanted since i was 14, and it all made sense...... the orange was a mistake, but its a good color, just not as "my eyes are bleeding" as the orange...

Thanks rev. I had contacted you about gold wheels for it, but ultimately settled with black as they were readily available and have the 12g spokes. It was a fun build.

ill be happy to make more machined alloy seat posts. the worksman was super easy, as most seat guts are 7/8" anyways, so there was literally 5 minutes of machine time. not including drilling and tapping. other diameters are able to be made, just have to machine a step into them. under 7/8"...

yeah, i plan on cutting the tube, but the neck seems really low/close to the top bar, within 1/4" if i turn the bars 360* not gunna be doing any bar-spins. haha but ergonomically, might be a bit low. Ill play around with it in different combos before i cut the stem, i can always take more metal...

thanks for the offer.... just did a friday trip to the LBS (mile away) got some -seat guts -AME grips (not my favorite, but they'll do for now, i don't like squishy grips) -20t rear gear -redline platform pedals ("polished" aluminum) -more head spacers...... not sure how much i gotta space it...

picked up some 7/8" solid aluminum bar for the seat post. gotta get some seat guts and drill and tap the post so the guts don't slip on the post. after machined, then i can polish it. couldn't find any .120 wall stainless, I'm still going to look, as i may need a lay back post for it.
